Weekly Geekly: Baltimore Comic Con

I love the Baltimore Comic Con. If you're a person who likes comic cons and you're within a couple hours of Baltimore, you should definitely go. It's a bigger con but it feels small. They don't jam celebrities down your throat. There's TONS of artists and vendors there for all of your nerdy needs. It's just so much fun. That's what I did this past weekend and thought I'd share some of my stuff with you guys!

First are some pictures from our walk from the parking garage to the convention center.

This building made me really excited.

We were a block away from the inner harbor and I could just see the tops of the tall ships. I was too lazy to walk down to the opposite end.

There were so many amazing cosplayers but I always feel bad stopping them since so many other people do and they're also trying to enjoy their con so I didn't snag any pictures of them. There was a ton of stuff I wanted to buy but I managed to limit myself.

I was so excited to find these since I haven't seen series 2 in any stores! They also let us trade in if we opened and didn't like who we got but I loved my Wreck It Ralph!

This is Sherlock by Luke Foster. More information on him can be found here.

This is Sherlock by Liz Leonard. More information on her work can be found here.

This girl was drawing custom cat sketches. I got her to do a Harry Potter sketch and Jon got her to do a Green Arrow sketch cover. Above is my Harry Potter. Below is Jon's Green Arrow because it's too cute not to share.

More information on the artist, Hannah Benbow, on her website here.

And last but far from least are these amazing pieces that are hand drawn. Take a look at how intricate these are. The artist doesn't even work under a magnifying glass or anything. That's just insane to me!

More of his work can be found here.

And that's it! I love everything I got. I think we might try to hit up the Allentown Comic Con as well and maybe some small ones in Philadelphia so more sketches to come!

I'm going back to binge-watching Arrow now since Jon and I started it over the weekend and we are ADDICTED!! I think we'll be able to catch up in time for the third season.
