Makeup Monday: #MKGlam Influenster Review

Happy Monday! So I'm going to give myself a schedule to work with and hope that I can stick with it. From the title, Mondays will be Makeup Monday! Today I wanted to pop back with a review of the Mary Kay products that I received a couple weeks ago from Influenster.
First, the brushes. I received the powder brush and the cream eye color/concealer brush. I really liked both if them. The cream eye color one really helps to apply the color evenly all over the lid. Sometimes using your finger can give it those weird bumps so this really helps! The powder brush also is nice as it helps blend the very fine translucent powder perfectly onto the face.
The translucent powder is crazy nice. It is so light on the skin that it feels like you aren't wearing anything at all. Personally, I don't need much coverage and I'm not the biggest fan of wearing foundation so I'm more of a concealer and powder girl. This set the foundation I used perfectly and just gave a nice, finished veil over my skin. I'm really enjoying it.
The Lash Love mascara really blew me away. The volume you can get with that stuff is INSANE. I couldn't believe what my lashes looked like! I could really only get away with one coat before they started getting clumpy but I really only needed the one! It's great stuff.
Left to Right: Gel Eyeliner in Jet Black; Cream Eye Color in Apricot Twist; Blush in Shy; Bronzer in Light/ Medium; NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss in Mango Tango
The eyeliner (first swatch) is really nice. The consistency of the product is beautiful and makes it very easy to get a nice, smooth line. The pigmentation is great and lasts all day. I didn't have any issues with it flaking off on the wings at any point. It also takes a little budging to get off, which for me is wonderful. I would rather work a little harder to get a product off my eye if it means it stays put all day!
The Cream Eye Color in Apricot Twist (second swatch) is stunning and perfect for any occasion. The first application goes on a bit sheer so you can just have a nice wash of color on your lid with a subtle glow, or you can build it up to make it more pigmented. Either way, the product doesn't crease, which is rare for me, so that gets it extra thumbs up!
The blush in Shy (third swatch) is a really pretty color that takes some building up to get it to be an intense color, which in my book is a wonderful thing of blush. There's nothing worse than going into blush thinking you have just enough and then when you put it on your face you look like a clown. The color is beautifully subtle and gives you a lovely glow and It can definitely be built up. I liked applying it a little heavier towards my temples and blending it downward towards my apples for a natural glow.
The Bronzer in Light/Medium (fourth swatch) was my absolute favorite product of the lot. Being a fair skinned chick, I have a tough time finding bronzers that aren't too dark or aren't too muddy looking. This one is absolutely perfect. It has a hint if shimmer to it but not too overpowering that you can't use it as a contour. I'm not a fan of full-on harsh contouring but I like to go over the contour areas with a larger, fluffy brush to get that just off the beach look. If you've been having trouble trying to find the perfect Bronzer, give this a try immediately! You'll love it!
And finally, the NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss in Mango Tango. This is such a fun color for summer as it can be worn sheer or layered up for a more full-on lip color. The formula feels really nice on the lips, however, it is one of the stickier formulas. I'm not bothered by those but I know some people aren't fans.
Hopefully this helped you guys find some new favorite products! I would recommend all of these, but if you're getting your Mary Kay feet wet I would suggest the mascara and Bronzer. Feel free to shoot me any questions you have on anything!
Alright, I am off to watch some hockey and get my butt back to the world of Hogwarts! Me and a couple girls at work are starting a book club so I'm trying to cram in the rest of book four before I have to start reading something else!
Goodnight from me and Macaroni!
