Healthy Living: My Weekend

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!  Mine was nice and relaxing, although I feel like I snuck too much food cheating in those couple days without any working out to balance it out.  Ugh. 

Friday I did some errands in the morning.  I came home and had lunch and then relaxed until my food was settled so I could do some Zumba.  I had gone to Target in the morning and decided I wanted a Frappacino.  I got it skinny so it had to be okay, right?!  Wrong.  So very, very wrong.  Even skinny, my Grande Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frapp was 420 calories.  That's an entire MEAL!  But I did get this adorable little plastic cup thing that is totally going to be used for some smoothie action in the near future!  The boyfriend and I went to Chili's for dinner and we got potato skins for an appetizer and I got a buffalo chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries for dinner. Yum.  That was supposed to be my cheat day but then the next day came... :-\

We went to the Christiana Mall in Delaware so we could go explore the LEGO Store tax free.  My boyfriend collects them and I love to build them so it all works out!  We did a little bit of walking but for the most part all the stores we wanted to go to were closely clumped together so there wasn't much of a workout in there.  Then we went to Cheeseburger in Paradise and I had a buffalo chicken wrap this time with sweet potato chips.  I'm awfully predicable, aren't I?  Just throw some buffalo chicken and a form of a sweet potato in front of me and I'm a happy camper.  I can't find the nutrition information anywhere so I have nooo idea how far out of my calorie zone I was.

On Sunday I was hell bent on getting up, having breakfast and being productive, which would have included working out.  Then I started watching Breaking Bad and it all went downhill from there.  I sat on my couch and took those in all day long.  I started at like 9:30 and didn't stop until 7:30.  I'm now starting to see why Netflix is so addicting.  I only used it for Arrested Development before.  We ordered out for lunch and I got a turkey and cheese wrap with lettuce, tomato and mayo, along with half a bag of sweet potato chips (surprise!).  I tried to make some delicious quinoa salad but it turned out so very, very wrong that it shall be going in the trash.  Ugh.

I picked up some kale when I went grocery shopping, however, so I'm going to make some kale stuff tonight.  I think I'm going to give kale chips a try because they sound delicious!  I'm also going to be trying a dip for some fruit that I saw.  I shall let you guys know how everything turns out!

So that was my failure at a healthful weekend, haha.  I'm going to try to do some sort of something tonight while I get sucked back in to Breaking Bad.  I can certainly watch the show while doing a workout.  It's times like this when I miss having a gym membership.  I would totally just take my iPad and my Netflix and go on the eliptical for an hour or something.  Oh well, I'll make it work!
