Healthy Living: Volume #3

Well, not all weeks can be winners, right?


Last Week's Weight:  153.1 lbs.
This Week's Weight:  154.6 lbs.

What Went Wrong:

Well, pretty much everything I suppose.  I did some emotional eating, especially on Monday and Tuesday, which obviously led up to my weigh-in this morning so that wasn't very helpful.  I didn't adhere to really any of my goals from last week either.  I wanted to buy fresh food but since I didn't go grocery shopping until last night and I'm not really going to be home too much this week I didn't want to buy stuff only for it to go bad.  So yeah, this week was a big old womp womp womp.

What Went Right:

I did do some working out on Friday but that was the only day.  I did some of the Just Dance video game, starting with the Disney one and ending with I think 3?  Believe it or not, the Disney one kicked my butt.  And what's even more embarrassing is that all the people you follow are actual little kids so I just felt even worse about myself lol Lame, I know.  Also, I went out to dinner with a friend on Monday night and instead of opting for somewhere unhealthy, we decided to go to a restaurant called Seasons 52, where every individual dish is under 475 calories.  I had a fig and goat cheese flat bread, corn on the cob and then our Waiter treated us to dessert, which are just little shots, so I had a berry cheesecake.  I'm sure all of those things added up probably were more than 475 calories but it could have been much worse!

Goals For The Upcoming Week:

Considering that I have a 4-day weekend I'm going to be working out tomorrow and Friday, no excuses!  I'm hoping to not gorge myself tomorrow and end up feeling bad about it.  I have a lot of social things lined up this weekend as well so I'm going to try to behave as best I can!  I also definitely need to make time for exercising on the weekends, no excuses!  I guess my biggest problem is that I only see my boyfriend on the weekend and now that I live a bit closer to him than I did when I was living at my parents' house, I run home, feed Macaroni, get ready and then run back to his house so we can go do whatever we're going to do.  I need to find a way to squeeze some exercise in there!

I also need to start doing some light weight training.  I got a couple dumbbells from TJ Maxx the other day so I plan on doing some of that stuff tonight when I get home.  I have a workout from I think last month's Women's Health magazine that I'm hoping will be a nice way to ease my way back into weights.  Hopefully everything goes well on that end!

I'm going to try my best to behave and come back with a better outlook next week.  It's really tough to get back in the mindset once you haven't been actively trying to lose weight.
