Review: Palmolive Soft Touch Dish Soap

As much as it may be a drag, chores are something we can't get away from ever in our lives unless we are filthy rich and can afford to have someone do all of them for us.  I'm sure that's a dream that many of us have but probably will never be able to see through.  Luckily there are products out there that make these chores a more enjoyable experience and, in this case, help maintain your ever important beauty routine!  Palmolive's new line of Soft Touch Dish Soap boast keeping your hands nice and soft while maintaining the manicure you spent beaucoup bucks on or spent your time trying to perfect!

Before I received this product from Influenster for testing, my dish-washing routine was pretty lousy.  I have a brush that I can put dish soap into and then run them under water and scrub.  The problem with this method is that my dishes usually weren't getting very clean and wound up being sticky afterwards.  Why would I wash my dishes this way?  For one, I'm lazy.  We'll just get that one out there right off the bat.  Mainly because, especially in the colder months, my hands get incredibly dry and I don't know about you, but generally soaking them in hot water with harsh soap would only make them worse.  This year, my dry hands were hanging in there even through the Spring and my knuckles were getting the worst of it.  Not a fun time!!

Since I started using my new dish soap I really don't mind washing dishes.  I fill up my sink, pop a couple drops of my Palmolive Soft Touch soap in there and scrub away!  When I'm done I have very clean dishes and soft hands that are not cracked or damaged, plus my manicure is damage free!  I definitely enjoy having a product that can both help with my beauty routine while completing one of my chores.  Hooray for time savers!

I received two bottles in my package.  I kept the Aloe version for myself and gave the Vitamin E version to my Mom.  She's been enjoying her bottle just as much as I have!  There is a Coconut Butter version on the market as well which I would only imagine smells super delicious.  And speaking of smells, on a personal note, every time I do dishes now I always think of my Aunt Lori who passed away in 2005 from breast cancer.  Her kitchen always smelled like Palmolive and when I opened up the bottle and started using it, it brought me back to being a kid and sitting on the floor while she did dishes.  Sense memory is alive and well!

All in all, if you have dry hands or are looking to try a new dish product I would highly suggest this!  As always, Palmolive is Tough on Grease, Soft on Hands and an absolute pleasure to use every night!  For more information on Palmolive you can visit their website and view their range of products here and you can read up on what other people think of this product on the Influenster review page here.  If you're looking to purchase this product you can find it at any Wal Mart store!

Until next time!
