February Favorites!

Goodness, this month went by fast didn't it?!  I've been so busy with moving and getting myself settled in that I hardly even remembered this month!  But my favorites are boring because I've been lazy, mostly because I had a lot of late nights trying to unpack and settle in that the last thing I wanted to do in the morning was makeup. I was lucky I was awake!  But here they are anyway, plus some other random favorites from this short month of February!

I'm often going back-and-forth between liquid eyeliner and gel.  This month was a gel eyeliner month and the one I loved was Wet N Wild's.  I've heard the Fergie one is no different from the one that they had in the regular collection and it performs just as well from what I've been able to tell.  I swore by this when I was in my last gel phase.  It's such a great price and the quality is right on par with anything high end.  I picked up a random paint brush at Michael's to use with this because it provides a stiffer tip so I have more control.

I have been OB.SESSED. with this mascara.  This is the Kardashain's makeup line.   Now, I don't really care about any of them one way or another but those girls know a thing or two about makeup. I'm not going to go into too much detail about it because I've been meaning to do a review of it so that is on the way!

This is a product that I've had for a while and just started going back to it this month.  I like the glow that it gives on the cheeks and the color is very much a controlled color, in that if you just want the slightest wash you can have it, or if you're looking for something more intense you can build it up to that too.  Does it boost my happiness?  I'm not sure but I do like how it looks on my cheeks!!

I bought this to use as a setting powder for the BB Cream, but this itself has been the stand-out to me.  It provides some good coverage and has a nice finish with a slight glow.  It lasts all day for me and looks natural.  Plus it's a lot quicker than putting on the BB Cream!

This is the only Color Whisper I've picked up (the color is "Go Nude") and I really like it.  By no means is it a crazy washed out nude (which I love, don't get me wrong!!) but it just gives a nice hint of shine and color.  I haven't had trouble with pairing it with any look that I'm going with!  Plus it feels super light on my lips.  Does it last for a long time?  Not by any means but it looks nice while it's on!

Forever Red from Bath and Body Works is a newer scent and I have been in love.  I actually got this in December so it's really been a favorite since then, but I actually worked my way through my body wash and lotion that I was using so now I'm using the trifecta!

Effing Mumford and Sons, man.  I have been listening to them all month long.  Whether it was leading up to the concert I went to on the 17th or after, they have been the soundtrack to my February.  I can't stop!!  I think they are some of the smartest musicians.  Why?  Because I still can't quite grasp all of their lyrics (hello complexity) and I feel like I discover something new every time I listen to them.  For example, and this didn't even totally dawn on me at the concert, unless Marcus is playing the drums there are no drums in their songs, but you wouldn't know because their sound is so full without them.  I just love them.  I started reading East of Eden by Jonathan Steinbeck because some inspiration for their first album came from there.  I just love them!!

I've also been loving having Smash back!!  The new guys are awesome.  Jimmy has an incredible voice that gives me chills every time he sings!  And I love that Jennifer Hudson is on there.  Her voice is just insane.

And that's all I can think of for February!  I'll be around in a couple of days with a review!  I have a couple things I want to post about!
