Walgreens Haul/Swatches & Other Things!

So this will probably be one of the last large hauls I do since I will be moving out into the world on February 1.  I'm excited but terrified at the same time, and I know I'll have to spend my money more practically.  But I was driving by Walgreens on my way home today and couldn't stay away!

There are so many different limited edition collections and new permanent products that it's so hard to walk in there without buying multiple things.  So let's get started!

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick in 113
Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss in Killer Watt
Rimmel 113 with Revlon Killer Watt

I couldn't get a great shot of the Rimmel lipstick on its own so I paired it with the Revlon gloss.  I was hoping that the Rimmel lipstick was going to be a dupe of Myth by MAC, but of course I can't seem to find my tube of Myth anywhere!  It is close if I remember correctly, but the finish is definitely shinier than Myth.  The Revlon Colorburst is from a limited edition collection that I want to say is called Nude Tips and Bright Lips.  It had I believe six different nude shades of nail polish and three Colorburst glosses.  It was up on top of one of the aisles (which I HATE when they do) so I couldn't see if all of them were new/limited edition but this one was in the front of the display so it was easy to grab.  The girl in the beauty department said she just put that display out today so keep a look out if you're interested!

I was watching a haul that Makeup by Alli did on YouTube this afternoon and she was talking about this color and I needed it.  This is really the main reason why I went to Walgreens.  I was actually leaning towards the Maybelline Color Whisper in Cherry on Top, which is a tad lighter and is in a balm form, but the girl in the beauty department told me she had bought it and brought it back because it wasn't as pigmented as she had hoped it would be.  This actually didn't turn out to be as bright as I thought but can definitely be built up.

L'Oreal Colour Riche Eyeshadow in Army Brat

I bought the Neon Skirt palette before and loved it when I swatched it but hated it when I tried to apply it.  The gold color didn't transfer over at all and was incredibly patchy.  I felt like more of the color fell out than applied on my lid.  Maybe I need to try it wet but I was so disappointed that I just threw it in my makeup drawer and forgot about it.  But I'm a sucker so I'm trying again.  Hopefully I will have a better experience with these colors.  The colors left to right are a dark, sparkly hunter green, a dark gray/brown with shimmer, a shimmery golden white and a golden taupe.

Revlon Photoready Eyeshadow Palette in Avant Garde

This palette comes with three eyeshadws (the upper three in the palette), a primer and a sparkle top coat.  I'm hesitant to use the primer in this kit alone since it's a powder; I almost wonder if they use primer in the sense of a base, which is probably more along the lines of how I will use it unless I'm using it on a day when I'm not leaving the house.  The palette is mainly blues with lots of shimmer.

Wet n Wild Coverall Cream Foundation in Fair/Light

I was really hoping they had these out because I'm very eager to try them.  It retails for $3.99 and has a coupon on the bottle for $1.00 off so you're getting a $2.99 foundation.  Wet n Wild has been impressing the heck out of me lately so I figured I'd give this a try.  There are setting powders that came out with this line as well but I'm loving the powders I've been using lately so I'm sticking to those.

And that's it for the haul!  But there's a couple other things that I wanted to share.

I got a palette for Christmas by The Color Workshop from my boyfriend's brother and sister-in-law.  I'd never tried their brand before so wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised!  There are 21 eyeshadows, 6 lip glosses, 4 blushes and a powder/highlighter, as well as a black and a brown mascara.

The middle of the circle is a shimmery white color, the colors in the next ring all have a high amount of shimmer and are crazy pigmented, and the ones on the outside have a good amount of glitter in them.

My boyfriend also was really excited to get me this cute little set from LipSmackers, mainly because of the art, which is adorable.

Oh hai Rainbow Dash!

And that's it!  I'll be working my way through all the products I hauled and between getting all my stuff packed will try to have some reviews up!
